I think there is a deep hatred for those who consider themselves liberals, expressed in this article; and, Chris Hayes' comments helped fuel this fire. From my perspective as an Independant, he was saying that the term "Hero" is being used to "liberally". I think he believes that volunteer soldiers should be given a great deal of respect, but words have meaning; and, the word "hero" should be reserved for a select few. (To use a sports analogy: It's like saying all ball players, in the Hall of Fame, should be called MVP's). Certainly, there are many heros in the armed forces; however, I believe he wants a term that more adequately describes the majority of soldiers valor. Though the article may correctly point out that he doesn't believe in "this current" war, I can't honestly say that he or other liberals don't understand the necessities of war. "This" war was to get Bin Laden. Done. But, the U.S. is still there, and young men and women are still dying over there… for what purpose? I believe that "some" wars are unavoidable, but we must be careful in going into war, because we are placing a huge burden on our children. When 18 - 24 year old men and women are asked to put there lives on the line, we better be damn sure the cause is just and true.

I understand your frustration, but such general disgust with everything having to do with our government is not only not constructive, it is one of the reasons pro government politicians stay in office.

I wonder if you could name which gun control laws that Rubio, Carson, Paul or Cruz have voted for?

There are only three major problems with pretending that anyone who is already in elected office and under oath is a viable candidate:

#1- They have broken their oath to defend the Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic by allowing a SINGLE gun control law to stay in place.
#2- They have taken bribes for votes whether through pork projects or direct bribes from lobbyists and thus have also committed fraud.
#3- Last but not least, each of these are High Crimes and Misdemeanors that make every vote they have made totally MOOT.

America can no longer handle these types of criminals and no one should be supporting them when they NOW KNOW THE TRUTH. This is obvious and now you know.... So where do you stand?
